From a verified review: "Great quality! I don't think it is supposed to be waterproof but I sat through 40 minutes of a soccer game in the pouring rain and it kept me perfectly dry. It's very soft and very warm and big enough for me + my two kids to huddle together under. The hood is a great add. It also has fasteners to clip around your chest/keep it in place. The only downside is the size when its packed away. I bought it online so I didnt know what to expect. It's approx the same size as my kid's sleeping bag - which is much bigger than something i'd "keep in my trunk all winter long" but thats okay - I still love it.
